The Global Investment Advisory community was founded in 2025, by Dr. Nicky Okoye. His vision brings together his in-depth investment strategy and enterprise executive leadership experience which spans over thirty years on three different continents of the World, including North America, Europe and Africa. In particular, Dr Okoye’s experiences as a global investment advisor with Merrill Lynch, one of the most reputable investment banks in the World at the time he was employed. And especially Dr Okoye’s experiences as the first Chief Strategy Officer of the Nigerian Stock Exchange Group, from 2001 to 2005.
The Global Investment Advisory community is guided by a board of trustees and advisors, a technical management committee and an executive committee.

Dr. Nicholas Ugochukwu Okoye’s Profile
Dr Nicky Okoye is a Global Investment Advisor, an expert on Global Capital and an Investment Aggregation Strategist. Nicholas has extensive experience and expertise in global market penetration, business development strategy and enterprise development. Nicky has authored several papers and reports on the dynamics and pathways for National Development using investment strategies and mobilizing capital from unusual sources.
Dr. Okoye is the Founder and President of the African Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Institute, founder of the Next One Hundred Trillion Dollars Mastermind Community, he is also founder of the Global Investment Advisory community, a community of globally focused Investment Banks and Asset Management firms committed to the adoption of Digital Assets Markets across Africa and the Caribbean. Dr Okoye is a co-founder of Transcorp Plc. (Transcorp Group), where he served as its first Executive and subsequently its first Group Executive Director, Operations and Strategy.
In addition, he has also served as member of the board and director of several governing boards in various industries including the Transcorp Hilton Plc, The National Council for Small and Medium Enterprises, the Anambra State Investment Promotion Agency, Nest Oil, The Obi-Jackson Group and many others.
Dr. Nick Okoye is a serial entrepreneur, having founded and co-founded several companies and initiatives over the years which collectively have impacted on national wealth creation required for Nation building, these include but are not limited to the Access Africa Strategic Initiative, which provides linkages and matchmaking for global conglomerates with African businesses.
Dr. Okoye has hosted strategic podcasts on National Development for African Nations, which grew to over one hundred thousand listeners, he has authored several publications, reports and position papers, including “Chasing Unicorns”, “Empower Nigeria” among others. He serves as Chairman of Anabel Group, which includes ANABEL Capital, ANABEL Cares, and ANABEL TECHNOLOGY. Dr Okoye received his Doctorate of Business Administration (Honoris Causa) from the Enugu State University of Technology, in recognition of his outstanding technical scholarship, publications and as the most outstanding alumni of the institution for the year 2015. His Nicky Okoye Foundation supports academic excellence in S.T.E.M. education, debating and sporting excellence for Africa’s young people. He has also received executive education at Harvard Business School and London Business School.

- He Led the Transcorp Plc. acquisition executive team (buy -side ) of nine Privatization transactions including Nicon Hilton ($250 million valuation) now Transcorp Hilton (Transcorp Hotels Plc). Community Focus
Global Investment Advisory (GIA) community’s Focus areas
The GIA community has been designed, structured and incorporated to lead the drive for the adoption of digital asset markets across Africa and the Caribbean. The GIA community and its members are providing investors with the platforms, global networks and the investment infrastructure that is required to engage with global digital asset markets, while structuring Africa’s real-world assets into tokenisation (digitalization) formats that meet global regulatory requirements.
In addition, the GIA community is positioned to:
1.Reposition the African capital markets to create new wealth while benchmarking the standards, systems and industrial pathways that are being achieved by global capital markets.
2.Drive the adoption and implementation of digital asset classes that would broaden the Nigerian, Caribbean and the African capital markets. To lead with the guidance for the birth and growth of the digital asset markets in Nigeria, the Caribbean and subsequently across Africa.
3.Support the implementation of the new digital asset markets ecosystem for Nigeria, the Caribbean and subsequently for Africa, including the introduction of new digital assets such as tokenised real-world assets, stable crypto currencies, NFTs, smart investment contracts and so on.
4.Drive, guide and midwife the creation of new digital asset markets institutions that will form the basis, structure and provide the investment infrastructure required for the new digital asset markets ecosystem in Nigeria, the Caribbean and subsequently across Africa.
5.Guide and support the capital market industry leaders, regulators, professionals and the financial community with the technical knowledge expertise and required support with structures that are required for the full adoption of the digital asset markets.
6.Design and develop sustainable structures for the aggregation of new investor communities for Nigeria’s capital markets, the Caribbean capital markets and subsequently for Africa’s capital markets including the required capital structures best suited for the digital asset markets ecosystem.
7.Aggregate new communities of investors for members the GIA community to manage their funds in special collective investment schemes/ funds or to manage directly, especially but not limited to investors such as Nigerians and Africans in Diaspora, young investors, family offices, pension funds, higher institutions, sports franchises, infrastructure developers, real estate developers etc.
8.Develop strategic guides for digital asset markets legislative agendas that would form the regulatory framework for global regulatory harmonization.
9.Support the growth of the digital asset markets as well as identify regulatory and legislative amendments that may be required from time to time, to strengthen existing digital asset markets regulation and legislation.
10.Provide the legislative arms of various Governments within the targeted geopolitical jurisdictions, the deep knowledge, background and strategic interventions that are required to make amendments to critical legislations when and where necessary. This will be accomplished by hosting periodic sessions with legislators and regulators as well as providing a monthly newsletter, which includes technical, regulatory and legislative content for consistent capacity building.
11.Provide the judicial arm of various Governments within the targeted geopolitical jurisdictions including high courts, appeal courts, and Supreme Courts as well as such special courts, arbitration dispute resolution structures and mechanisms such as special Investment and Securities Tribunals (IST), with deep technical support for the full understanding of the digital asset markets and digital asset classes as well as technical learning support on the entire digital asset markets ecosystem. This will support effective dispute resolution, impartial judgement and judicial pronouncements.
12.Provide the Nigerian, Caribbean and the African capital markets and the entire African financial system, with direct and consistent access to interactive and effective strategy sessions that are held with high ranking officials of the executive, legislative and judicial arms of Government, for the purposes of gaining broad based industry, leadership and public sector buy-in, for new capital market structures and strategies, including but not limited, to the digital asset markets, and the systems, structures and infrastructure required for its efficient operations.
13.Expand the structures, systems, opportunities and asset classes available for creating innovative pathways for wealth creation and fund management, as well as to expand and reposition the wealth management structures available to Nigerian, Caribbean and Africa’s wealthiest families. In addition, to reposition Africa’s asset portfolios, using strategic digital asset classes, that provide for more diversified approaches to wealth preservation, asset allocation, risk tolerance and asset management.
14.Design, build, own and operate the institutional investment infrastructure that are required for the efficient and effective operations of a full-fledged digital asset markets ecosystem operating within Nigeria, Caribbean and subsequently across Africa.
15.Build and manage a membership based community of institutional and high net-worth investors that are dedicated to the expansion of the Nigerian, Caribbean and African capital markets by collectively advocating for new legislation, aggregating new investor communities, building new investment systems & structures, introducing new technologies, providing sustainable investor education, designing new securities, holding securities’ issuers accountable and providing overall guidance that is required for new investor communities to participate in the Nigerian and African capital markets on a sustainable basis.
